The USETDA Conference Organizing Committee is pleased to welcome you to USETDA 2026, our 16th Annual Conference, “Navigating the Winds of Change.” Join us September 23–25, 2026, at the Renaissance Hotel Downtown Toledo or online for this hybrid event.

This year’s program features 2 workshops, 3 panel discussions, 12 breakout presentations, user group meetings, flash talks, a poster session, and numerous networking opportunities. All presentations will be streamed live and recorded via Webex, allowing both in-person and virtual participants to interact throughout the event. Key Schedule Highlights:

  • Wednesday, Sept 23: Most conference functions will take place at the Renaissance Hotel. The day begins with a comprehensive two-hour workshop, “ETDs for Beginners,” followed by lunch at noon and opening sessions in the afternoon. Join us in the evening for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at our welcome reception on the hotel terrace lounge.
  • Thursday, Sept 24: We will open with a networking breakfast from 8-9:30 AM. Afternoon activities include poster presentations and user group meetings, followed by evening dine-around excursions to enjoy local cuisine with colleagues.
  • Friday, Sept 25: Join us at 9:00 AM for The University of Toledo Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Showcase workshop, followed by our closing wrap-up session at 11:00 AM.
